Come volunteer at an event to help maintain trails, recreation areas, and primitive campsites. We also have conservation projects in the forest with the endangered wood peckers and other wildlife projects. Look at our calendar of events on Facebook.

Held on the Fourth Saturday of September, the Sam Houston National Public Lands Day event is a single-day volunteer effort for the Sam Houston National Forest held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 394 FM 1375 West, New Waverly, Texas 77358

Please Donate to assist the LSHT Conservancy partner with Youth Groups, Boy Scouts, & Girl Scouts to guide them to rebuild these bridges, benches, signs and trail improvements. We provide materials, tools, & teach them building skills.
